Implementación de un sistema de reporte y seguimiento de incidentes laborales en la clínica Magdalena

Abstract

The objective of the present work is to implement a system for reporting and monitoring labor incidents for workers at Magdalena Clinical, based on a review of the literature that allowed for the analysis of information from publications. The research was taken and selected from databases: Virtual Library Universidad Antonio Nariño, Virtual Library Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Elsevier, Pubmed, Scielo, Ministry of Social Protection, Ministry of Labour. The articles and documents were chosen according to their content and methodological rigor based on incidents and accidents at work. From the review of the selected investigations, it has been possible to identify that there is no information available in the media about incidents, the information found on the web, the articles, among others, are directly related to occupational accidents. This project aims to contribute to the General System of Safety in the Workplace at Magdalena Clinical, through a system of incident reporting and monitoring, in order to obtain valuable information to prevent occupational accidents based on preventive actions, as established in the Single Regulatory Decree of the Work Sector 1072 of 2015 and the Practical Guide for the Identification of Dangers and Risk Assessment in Occupational Safety and Health GTC-045-2010(2, 3). It was concluded that the pilot test applied to the work incident reporting format and each of the strategies proposed to carry out its execution was satisfactory. It is of great importance that the worker acquires the culture of the report, since a positive development is achieved for the identification of the risk and notification of labor incidents, achieving this way a major percentage of notifications of incidents, application of strategic measures and changes in infrastructure, in order to diminish the labor accident rate.
