Aplicativo web para la gestión de la información de la UDCII de la FIMEB de la UAN.

Abstract

The Unit for the Development of Science and Research (UDCII) (UDCII) of the Faculty of Mechanical, Electronic and Biomedical Engineering (FIMEB) of Antonio Nariño University south building in bogota is responsable for Managing, creating, maintaining, developing or participate in investigation groups and projects, involved with the faculty. The management of the documentation is done in a manual and not very orderly process, causing a wasteful and not very productive handling, in terms of Access, updating and searching of information.

In view of UDCII necessity to have an information system that allows the effective management of documentation, a web application was developed using Java and PostgreSQL to systematize, controle and manage the documentation handled by UDCI of FIMEB. The methodology propose to develop the application was the incremental methodology, wich is based in dividing the Project in increments, every of them is divided in stage of analize, development, implementation and quality assurance
