Aporte de la metodología STEAM en los procesos curriculares

Abstract

The objective of the study is to carry out a systematic review of the literature that allows the identification of the contributions of the STEAM methodology in the curricular processes. The PRISMA method was applied. A total of 50 scientific documents were identified. The results of the analysis made it possible to define lines of work, namely: STEAM theoretical foundation in education, STEAM methods for education, contributions of the STEAM methodology to curricular interdisciplinary and teaching skills. It is concluded that the STEAM methodology allows the building of comprehensive, complex and interdisciplinary knowledge through active methodologies that promote the development of critical, creative, reflective, logical thinking and, above all, the development of cognitive processes.
